Grace was born on to a very poor Mother, she was sick with malnutrition and her mother died with HIV/Aids at City Hospital, Harare. Grace has no living relatives. After her mum died in hospital she was abandoned in the hospital by a remaining uncle
who we have been told has since passed away.

Grace was very sick when we found her in the hospital. She was just six months old and she was skin and bones with suppurating sores all over her body - especially her face. We stayed by her bedside for two weeks - feeding, bathing and encouraging her. She was a very unhappy little girl who lay quietly and in pain and never smiled.

After building up her strength she was released to us and has blossomed in every way. She started to talk straight away and has not stopped since! She has grown in every part of her life to become the sweetest child. Her manner and general loving personality is adored by all. She interacts with all the other children and has great confidence. She also leads them in games and races and is quite competitive.

Grace is a treasure who lights up everyone’s life when they meet her and we have high hopes for her. We are planning on her schooling already, as she seems to have an aptitude for learning and is excelling in our pre-school. Already she can recognize numbers and words, knows all the colours, has a great memory and can say lots of nursery rhymes.

Can you help?

We would ask you to pray and think if you would like to be involved in Grace’s life. We are seeking to build an education fund which will enable us to send her to a top school here in Harare and give her a chance to excel.

We would ask you to pray and think if you would like to be involved in Grace's life. We are seeking to build an education fund which will enable us to send her to a top school here in Harare and give her a chance to excel. We have been talking to one of the best schools in Harare, a Christian school with a great history and we believe our children should attend this school. The Principal has agreed to provide us with a bursary for our children and instead of costing US$4800 per term, ( this is actually the cost of 1st term in the 1st year only ) the actual cost will be US$750 and the following 2 terms $300 each! As you can see this is a huge saving and we thank God for moving on our behalf and granting us favour with the school.

If you think you would like to get involved with us in sponsoring Grace for school, please send us an e mail with "Grace" in the subject box. You can sponsor any amount on a monthly, per term or annual basis.

Thank you for reading this we look forward to hearing from you.

As you can see from Grace’s birthday she is actually starting school in January 2014 and we thank the Lord for the support already received which will enable Grace to begin school with ALL fees paid!

We will put all monies received into her personal fund and it will not be used for any other purpose.

Faith- was born in a local hospital, in Harare, on 26/09/2011, and was abandoned there. Unbelievably, Faith was in the hospital for 6 months before we found her and brought her home to Jabulani. Faith was very malnourished and had huge eyes, in a very sunken little face. Since coming to Jabulani, Faith has gained weight rapidly and is catching up on all the skills that she was not encouraged to develop while in the hospital. Faith is talking now, has plenty of teeth and is moving around! She is always smiling and is a happy little girl, Faith is a very lovable little girl.

Can you Help?

We would ask you to pray and think if you would like to be involved in Faiths life. We are seeking to build an education fund which will enable us to send her to a top school here in Harare and give her a chance to excel.

The Government schools have an average class size of 50 children and costs US$120 per term, there are three terms per school year, and an A grade school costs US$250 per term where a private school is anything from US$750 and a Christian private school US$1500 per term.

If you think you would like to get involved with us in sponsoring Esther for school, please send us an email with "Faith" in the subject box. You can sponsor any amount on a monthly, per term or on a annual basis.

Thank you for reading this we look forward to hearing from you. As you can see from Faith's birthday, she is still a few years away from school age but we are trying to build a fund to see what type of school we can send her to. We want her to have as great an opportunity as we can provide but we don’t know what the fees will be when she actually starts school.

We will put all monies received into her personal fund and it will not be used for any other purpose.

Zimbabwe Orphan Care update (Jan. 25, 2016):
Due to a recent review of our global online presence on social media, and following updated legal direction from local government authorities regarding images of children online, we have taken the decision to remove all pictures of the children in Jabulani. We know you will understand the reasoning behind this move and appreciate your support and continued prayer for our work.

God bless,
ZOC
